We're getting married!

Andrea and Joseph met in 2014 while working for the same company. They worked in different departments and their paths would occasionally cross both inside and out of the office. Friday Happy Hours became a ritual and one particular Friday Joseph found himself talking with Andrea and immediately detected a spark – at least on his end. Very soon he asked Andrea on their first date. On December 30, 2014, Andrea and Joseph met for food and drinks, and to watch their beloved University of Louisville Cardinals football team in the Belk Bowl. It was just a casual night getting to know each other, enjoying beer and pizza, unbeknownst to them their love story was just beginning. Andrea and Joseph began inventing any excuse possible to spend time together. Whether it was ice cream dates, playing with her new puppy, Winnie, or Joseph suddenly realizing he needed glasses and required Andrea to help him find just the right pair. On Valentine’s Day 2015, while at dinner, Joseph slid a card across the table to Andrea that read, "Will you be my Girlfriend?” At that very moment their relationship became officially official. Throughout their many years of dating (cough, cough), Andrea and Joseph have enjoyed incredible times and great adventures together. From nights socializing with friends, attending UofL basketball and football games, seeing almost every concert to come through the YUM! Center, or traveling across the country to Florida, California, Hawaii, and beyond, they understood that they are at their happiest when they are together.

On May 30, 2020, Joseph knew it was time to "put a ring on it" and asked Andrea to be his wife. He took her on a picnic to Cherokee Park with their two dogs, Winnie and Rooney. After asking for her hand and presenting her with a ring, Andrea tearfully said, "Yes!" (while adding, "finally!"). However, the celebration was just beginning! With the help of friends and family, Joseph had organized a surprise engagement party later that night to celebrate this joyous occasion with their loved ones. Andrea and Joseph cannot wait for this next chapter and are currently enjoying their time as an engaged couple. They are thrilled to have you as part of their day and are looking forward to celebrating with you. They want to thank their family and friends who have been so loving and supportive along the way.
