Are children invited?

While we adore children, we have made the decision to host an adults-only celebration. We kindly request that only guests aged 13 and older attend.

Official wedding invitations will be mailed with a link to RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be starting at 4pm. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to get seated.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Suits or dress shirt and pants with an optional nice jacket for men. Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or dressy skirts and tops for women.

What kind of weather should I expect?

Answer

Our wedding will be in Evergreen, Colorado, at a high altitude. In mid-August, you can anticipate beautiful, sunny days with temperatures in the mid-70s to low 80s. However, the evenings cool down considerably, so we strongly advise bringing a light jacket or sweater. Also, typical of Colorado, we can have afternoon thunderstorms. So please keep an eye on the sky, and be prepared for changing conditions.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you go to the travel section on our website you will see that we have a room block under Brown-Bedard Group at The Comfort Suites Golden West Evergreen with more details. A shuttle will also be provided to and back from the hotel and Evergreen Lake House the day of the wedding. Otherwise there are other hotels and Airbnb nearby.

Where to park at wedding venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at Evergreen Lake House but it is open to the public that is hiking around, visiting, or kayaking the lake as well. This means it could fill up fast. We ask that you car pool if possible or get there early.
