How do I prepare for the altitude?

Answer

Crested Butte is at 8,900 feet! Drink LOTS of water, cut back on the alcohol, and ask your doctor for altitude pills if you are worried. You can also book a hotel in Gunnison instead, which is at 7,700 feet and might be easier to adjust to. The mountains are unpredictable, so pack layers, a rain coat, umbrella, a swim suit, and plenty of sunscreen.

Yes! You can do this when you RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is some parking, but it is a bit limited. Walk or carpool from your hotel if you can.

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please keep the kiddos at home.

Only if you request one! Weddings create a lot of waste, so we're saving paper, having a vegetarian menu, and making intentional choices for the planet.
