When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will be hosted at The Clyde Venue located at 223 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31401 on Saturday, August 8th,2026. Recommended hotels are within walking distance of the venue.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes - The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are in the same building. Please note that the cocktail hour will be outdoors.

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Parking is not available at the venue. DO NOT park in the lot behind the venue as it belongs to SCAD. Us and the venue are not responsible for any cars towed. Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re keeping our celebration intimate, so plus-ones are only extended to guests who are married, engaged, or have been specifically told otherwise. We truly appreciate your understanding as we plan a day that reflects our closest connections.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I update my RSVP after the deadline?

Answer

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accept any changes after the RSVP deadline, as final counts will have already been submitted to our venue and vendors. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who RSVP’d on time! RSVP Deadline will be listed on the official invitation (not to be confused with the Save The Date)

What should I do if I can't attend?

Answer

We’ll miss celebrating with you! Please let us know as soon as possible if you’re unable to attend so we can plan accordingly. Your early response helps us finalize important details with our venue and vendors. If you’d still like to share in our celebration from afar, feel free to visit our registry or send a kind note — your love and well-wishes mean the most to us.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors will open at 5:00 PM, and guests should arrive no later than 5:45 PM to allow time to be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM, and late arrivals will be asked to wait until after the ceremony to enter. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Yes! Our celebration will be semi-formal with an elegant, timeless feel. We invite guests to wear attire that complements our color palette — emerald, sage, gold, periwinkle, lavender, burgundy, taupe, and grey. Think classic dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits in breathable, summer-friendly fabrics. Please kindly avoid white, ivory, cream, blush, navy, mauve, and black, as those shades are reserved for our wedding party and parents. Thank you for helping us create a cohesive and beautiful celebration!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We’re having an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. Don’t worry — our photographer will capture every special moment, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you afterward!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We’ve reserved a hotel block for our guests at The Embassy Suites, Spring Hill Suites and The Residence Inn to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. You can find the booking link and details on our website under the Travel & Stay section. We recommend reserving early to take advantage of the special group rate! Other hotel recommendations are listed as well.
