Driving in Ensenada/Valle de Guadalupe
The roads of Ensenada are well maintained and you will have no issues driving. Valle de Guadalupe on the other hand is vast and not entirely paved. While many wineries and restaurants are easily accessible, some require driving a fair distance on unpaved roads. For this reason, we recommend an SUV, Truck, or Jeep as opposed to a sedan. Do your research with regard to hotels, wineries, and restaurants ahead of time.
