ABSOLUTELY. Anthony & I take allergies seriously! Our niece is allergic to many things such as peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, eggs, fish & more. We will be discussing this with Danni, our wedding coordinator at The Meadow Wood, in hopes of eliminating some or all of these from our menu! If you have a concern while in attendance at our wedding, please DO NOT hesitate to ask questions to the staff on hand or one of us! We want you to be able to enjoy your time without having to worry about any health concerns!
Once our invitations are sent out, at the request of our venue, guests will be asked to RSVP four weeks prior to our wedding date. We would greatly appreciate it if you mailed back the addressed & stamped envelope! It’s much easier for us to keep track of our guests this way, but we will absolutely be keeping an eye on the RSVP’s through the website.
We are registered through Crate&Barrell and Amazon!!
Our kids will be in attendance for a majority of the evening & although we will have some family members bringing children, we do ask that you leave your little ones with a family member or sitter so you can enjoy yourself!
Our hotel block will be with The Hampton Inn, located right off of Route 80 in Denville/Rockaway. Please see our travel tab, as we have listed a few additional hotels that may be able to suit your needs.. Especially if you plan on staying for a visit or bringing a furry family member!!
Both Saint Cecilia’s & The Meadow Wood have large parking lots to accommodate all vehicles!
We will absolutely have transportation to the reception for our guests who are staying in the hotel.
We are still working out times with the church & our vendors. Our invitation will include all times, details, directions & information.
So here is my opinion on this: We are spending a lot of time & money to not only celebrate the love we have for each other, but the love we have for our children, our family & our friends. Our incredibly talented photo/video team will be with us throughout the day, documenting every moment from the hotel, to the church, to the reception & so on. It would break my heart to see photos of everyone taking photos in our wedding album. We will ask that you refrain from taking photos in the church, but feel free to whip out those camera phones when the ceremony is complete & throughout the reception! We will even have a hashtag if you’d like to post to social media!
Black Tie optional.
Of course! If you have any dietary restrictions, please feel free to make the staff aware! If you feel uncomfortable doing so, I would be more than happy to do it for you.
We chose to celebrate our wedding on a Thursday because we have many friends & family members coming in from out of town/out of state. And due to everything that has been going on, we have not been able to see some of them for quite some time! The week before a wedding always consists of running/rushing around & is busy, busy, busy! We are hoping this gives us more ‘down time’ afterwards & a few extra days to spend with everyone before they head back home. We also thought it may be nice for some of our guests to take a summer Friday!
According to the CDC, health & safety guidelines enforced by the State of New Jersey and the amazing staff & management at the Meadow Wood, our room/venue only allows for a limited amount of guests to be in attendance for our reception. Unfortunately, we did have to lessen our original number for the safety of you, our friends & families.
Of course we can!! Don’t hesitate to call!! Ashley (973) 879-6175
