Yes! We have shared a rough outline (very rough for now) of plans around our wedding day in the "itinerary" tab, but more information will be added closer to the day.
Section will be updated closer to the time - don't worry, we will give you plenty of notice!
Bacău is a small town, so getting around is easy. The most convenient way to travel is by taxi. You can use ride-hailing apps like Bolt or Uber, or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can hop into one of the local street taxis.
A hair stylist will be coming to the venue for those who have requested an appointment. If you haven’t yet let us know but would like to book a slot, please get in touch as soon as possible.
The church ceremony will start at 2:30pm, so we advise that you arrive between 1:45pm-2pm at church. If you have opted for venue-church-venue transport, this will be arranged for you and details shared ahead of the day.
Romania tends to still be quite hot in autumn. We will be expecting lows of 22 degrees and even highs of 30 degrees. In 2024, 19th September was a sunny 25 degrees.
While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our celebration an adults-only event. We have agreed some exceptions, which we hope you will understand, otherwise we kindly ask that you arrange childcare for the day. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, let loose and enjoy a well-deserved night off with us!
In true Romanian tradition, weddings are known to go well into the next morning! We don’t have a set end time just yet, so you’re welcome to celebrate with us for as long (or as little) as you’d like. Just come prepared: comfy shoes and maybe even a spare outfit are recommended!
Your presence is the best gift we could ask for! However, if you’d like to give something, you are more than welcome to use QR code/link which will be emailed to you and can also be accessed on the gallery page, OR use the deposit box on the day.
We’ve chosen a dual colour theme for our wedding — lilac and peach! Even though our venue is an outdoor, nature-filled setting, you’ll spot little touches of these colours throughout, including on our Bride Tribe and Groom Crew. We have added a picture of these colours in the gallery section and on our Instagram page @a.and.m.tietheknot so you can see exactly what we mean.
If you have any questions, queries or uncertainties about our big day or your travels, please email: andraandmick@gmail.com or Whatsapp us +447950152304
