The DDX is 35 miles, or about 45 minutes, from the town of Cody, WY and 85 miles, or about 1.5 hours, from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Please consider driving routes, flights, and rental car options so you have an idea of what this journey will entail.
Western Summer Formal. Think cocktail or semi-formal attire. Add some cowboy flare if you'd like. Midi length dresses are perfect, while short cocktail dresses and jumpsuits are also a great option. Consider block heels, as much of the event is on grass. Suits (tie/bolo tie optional) or sports jackets and dress shirts are ideal.
Typical summer weather is cool mornings in the 40s or 50s, warm sunny days in the 70s or 80s, a change of afternoon thunderstorms, and breezy conditions. It snows in the high country every month of the year - some summer thunderstorms are associated with cold rain, wind, and snow, so be prepared!
