Things To Do

Things to Do in Los Angeles We’re so excited to welcome you to Los Angeles for our wedding weekend. Since our celebration takes place in the heart of Downtown LA, there’s no shortage of incredible food, culture, history, and experiences nearby. Whether you’re extending your stay or exploring between events, we hope you enjoy everything the city has to offer.

West Angeles Church Of God and Christ

3600 Crenshaw Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016

Our faith is an important part of our journey together, and West Angeles Church of God in Christ holds a very special place in our hearts. This is where we were both baptized and where we are current members. Known for its powerful worship, rich history, and deep community roots, West Angeles is a meaningful place to visit for guests who want to experience a cornerstone of Los Angeles faith and culture during our wedding weekend.

Universal Studios Hollywood

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608

Since we live in Hollywood and are Universal Studios pass holders, this is one of our favorite go‑to date spots. Between the studio tours, rides, and grabbing food at CityWalk, it’s a place we’ve spent many fun days and nights together. If you’re looking for a full day of entertainment while you’re in town for our wedding weekend, Universal Studios Hollywood is a great option and one that’s very “us.”

Griffith Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027

Hiking trails, scenic views, and one of the best overlooks of the city.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art

5905 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036

Living in Hollywood, we love spending time at LACMA for relaxed dates, inspiring exhibits, and wandering the outdoor installations. Whether it’s exploring new exhibitions or walking through the iconic Urban Light display, it’s one of our favorite places to slow down and take in the art and culture that make Los Angeles so special. It’s a great option for guests looking for something meaningful and uniquely LA during our wedding weekend.

Hollywood Wax Museum

6767 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028

Living in Hollywood, this is one of those classic spots we’ve popped into just for fun on casual date days. It’s playful, nostalgic, and very on‑brand for the area. If you’re looking for something lighthearted and uniquely Hollywood while you’re in town for our wedding weekend, the Hollywood Wax Museum is a fun stop, especially if you’re already exploring the Walk of Fame.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Vine Street, Los Angeles, CA 90028

Since we live in Hollywood, the Walk of Fame is part of our everyday neighborhood and one of those classic LA experiences we never take for granted. Whether it’s a casual stroll, people‑watching, or grabbing a bite nearby, it’s a fun way to soak in the energy of the city. If you’re visiting for the first time or want to experience a true Hollywood staple while you’re in town for our wedding weekend, this is an easy and iconic stop.

The Grove is one of our favorite spots for an easy date night or a relaxed afternoon out. From grabbing a bite and walking around to catching a movie or people‑watching, it’s a place we visit often and always enjoy.
