You are welcome to come in/leave as you please of course. We plan to have things for everyone starting Friday night and on Saturday. Please see the 'Schedule' page so you can decide what you will join in on! As a general answer, we recommend you fly in on Friday and out on Sunday or Monday.
The immediate families will be assigned to one of 3 VRBO's already booked. Friends may pick from either a VRBO (probably a 3 night minimum) or our host has suggested a few different places where you can just come in for one or two nights. Please see the 'Travel and Lodge Options' tab for details. The VRBO options are all ones within the same neighborhood as the reception site. We do ask you to be careful if you plan on drinking to stay close by so you can easily get home safely. There will be spare beds if you cannot safely make it.
PLEASE know that we would love to invite all of our friends but with Covid we chose to keep the guest list down to direct family and very close longtime friends. We ask that you keep your attendance down to just those invited in your party. We want plenty of room to spread out to have a fun and relaxing weekend.
Of course our crystal ball cannot say for sure but with the feedback and research it seems as if the weather this time of the year has a good chance for equaling and perfect fall day. Please plan to wear layers during your visit to account for the weather swings. It should be very easy to find snow to play in too since the town is at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park (with a small national park entrance fee). We will have blanket for the cooler evenings when we are chilling by the river and on the decks! https://weather-and-climate.com/average-monthly-precipitation-Rainfall,grand-lake-colorado-us,United-States-of-America
