Wedding Party

Carrie Ray

Bridesmaid

I’m Carrie Ann Ray, the proud big sister to Andie! I am a mom of two and work as a litigation assistant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Even though Andie is younger than me, I’ve always looked up to her. She is such an amazing person who’s strength and determination have always been an inspiration to me. She has always gone after her dreams and never let anything deter her. Our sister Lacy, who tragically passed away this year, is surely celebrating alongside you and would be so proud to stand by your side for this moment. Forever and always will be your Carrie and Lacy who live at the airport.

Bridesmaid

Andie and I go way back—we’ve been best friends since 6th grade, growing up in Cypress, TX. Music has always been a huge part of our friendship, whether it was playing together in band, or going to concerts and festivals whenever we could. These days I live in Spring, TX with my two sweet pups, Addie and Scrappy, and my amazing boyfriend of over three years, Christian. I’m beyond excited to stand by Andie’s side on her big day! 💕

Leah Alcaraz

Bridesmaid

Hi, I’m Leah. I met Andie years ago when we were techies in San Francisco, and we clicked right away — her warmth, humor, and style made her impossible not to love. What began as casual hangs became a real friendship built on laughter, honesty, and being there for each other. Through Andie, I met Zach and saw something special. They show up for each other, grow together, laugh hard, love deeply — and always make room for another glass of wine. We’ve shared wine-soaked nights, chaotic ski trips (I barely survived), and cozy evenings with their snack-thieving wiener dog, Bailey. I’m so grateful for these two. Watching them get married? It’s a beautiful thing — and I can’t wait to celebrate it.

Bridesmaid

Andie and I met on move-in day freshman year of college. We bonded over concerts, late-night nonsense, and eventually became roommates senior year. After college, I conveniently followed Andie to San Francisco. A few years later, I joined her ski lease in Tahoe, where she (a snowboarder, sadly) taught me to ski on icy groomers over three snowless months, and we shared many beers at Alpine’s Ice Bar. That’s also where I first met Zach. Watching Andie and Zach grow closer over ski weekends, board games, and BBQs has been the best (shout out to the birthday brisket Zach’s made me the past couple years)! Seeing them together makes so much sense, and I’m so excited to be a part of their wedding!

Holly Mitchell

Bridesmaid

Andie and I met at USC during the summer before we started there in 2012. We ended up living together for three years in college, sharing countless late nights with $3 wine, so many music festivals and concerts, road trips to places like the Grand Canyon, Vegas, and Big Sur, and plenty of study sessions where Andie always went to bed long before my procrastinating self. Since college, our friendship has stayed strong. We meet up whenever we can for music festivals, birthday trips, or to watch an eclipse from an RV in Texas. In recent years, those adventures have included Zach, and I couldn't be happier that he and Andie found each other. Andie has always been a loyal, fun, and truly wonderful friend, and I’m so excited to be part of this new chapter in her life!

Bridesmaid

Andie and I were roommates at freshman orientation a few months before we started at USC. Little did I know we’d continue living together for the next few years, or that one day I’d be a bridesmaid at her wedding! We’ve had so many adventures since then - ski team, Berlin, and countless music festivals, camping trips, and wine nights. Thank you Andie for all the good times and for planning all of our trips, and thank you Zach for driving our RV through a tornado warning and for being a great partner to Andie. I can’t wait to celebrate you both in Portland!

Jennifer Marr

Bridesmaid

I’m Jennifer Marr, Andie’s long time friend and an entertainment lawyer. Andie and I met over 10 years ago when we were students at USC, and our friendship has deepened immensely over the years through a common love for music and adventure. From late nights DJ-ing and frolicking together at concerts, to supporting each other through various major life transitions, I’ve always been able to count on Andie to be kind, compassionate and grounded. I’m so grateful to know her and to have the honor of standing by her side as a bridesmaid on her special day!

Zach and I first met as two kids in a chapel basement. No, really—there was a pizza party. I promise it was just a new student orientation. We both jumped ship to Oregon Episcopal in 2005, and little did I know I’d be stuck with this guy for life. What started with video games and goofing off has turned into cookouts, trading hot sauces, and debating who found the better chili crisp. Somewhere along the way, Zach dragged me into the world of the Grateful Dead—now we’ve got matching tattoos to prove it. Yes, they’re permanent. Whether we’re cooking, dancing at a show, or tearing it up on the slopes, Zach’s been a pillar of support in my life. I’m proud to stand by him today and excited to see him start this next adventure with Andie—who clearly has a higher tolerance for him than I do.

I first met Zach in 2006 in Middle School. We became fast friends after I realized he was actually pretty cool and I got over my middle school phobia of new people. We ran Cross Country and made lots of memories together in High School. When we both studied Computer Science in college, I offered him an “internship” at a startup in the summer of 2014. Four of us shared a small Palo Alto house which doubled as an office/gym/kitchen/party-space building a company. We continued working together during summers and after graduating. We did concerts, bar crawls, game nights together. Zach and Andie always make it a genuine party. I was so happy he moved to Portland and got engaged to start making “family” memories together!

I first encountered Zach in 2012, lost and half starved, wandering in an alley near RPI and decided to take him in and nurse him back to life. After that he started following me around like a baby bird and I realized his lanky arms could be useful for catching frisbees and keeping soccer balls out of the goal, so I decided to keep him. Zach became my little brother in our fraternity at RPI and we were inseparable throughout college, most frequently at the gym, the pong table, or the intramural fields. He even convinced me to move across the country to live in the same state as him, and I've been lucky enough to get to see him and Andie a few times every year up in the bay area or in LA.

Groomsman

Computer engineer, RPI grad, fraternity guy, September 23rd birthday, sports and gym enthusiast… sound familiar? No, that’s not Zach—it’s his little fraternity brother, Kenny. When it came time to pick a big brother, I knew I wanted that one, and I’ve been following him around ever since. Zach’s introduced me to some of life’s essentials—lifting, Fiji pong, pho—and even an internship in Los Altos that basically became “bring your kid to work all summer.” Eventually, Zach found me a mom—Andie. These days I may not trail him daily, but I’m still lucky enough to head west and keep adventuring with them both.

I met Andie during our time at USC on the ski team and Zach later on in the Bay Area. At the time I didn't yet know I'd eventually be introducing them to each other, but I'm happy to take full credit and thank yous now! I also proudly take credit for teaching Zach about meat thermometers (and thus his entire grilling career). These days, you can usually find all of us skiing together somewhere, or on one of Zach's guided wine/rafting tours. It’s been an honor watching their story unfold from the very beginning, and I’m excited to stand by their side!

Groomsman

I met Zach after senior year of college, living in a startup house with him where we split time coding, gymming, gaming, partying and sustaining ourselves exclusively through protein, rice and beer (and sometimes Pho). We’ve continued piling up memories from rafting trips, Halo playthroughs, questionable drinking games and running it down in League. Whatever it is, Zach is always up for anything and has a way of making every moment more fun and alive. I’m grateful to call him one of my closest friends, and even more grateful for a camaraderie that’s been built on laughter, trust, and countless late night conversations. I couldn’t be more excited to keep sharing adventures with him and Andie as they start this next chapter together!

Groomsman

I met Zach and Andie on my very first day in San Francisco, and within minutes the banter with Zach started — I knew I’d landed well in a new city. Later, my now wife asked if they were together, and honestly, it was obvious. They had an ease and connection you don’t see often. Over the years, our friendship has grown through ski trips, plenty of laughter, and unforgettable nights with friends. They balance each other perfectly and bring out the best in everyone around them. I feel incredibly lucky to call them close friends and am honored to stand beside Zach as a groomsman as they begin this next chapter together.
