For those flying in, Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is a great option! It often offers more affordable options than flying directly into Santa Fe and is about an hour away.

While it’s a bit smaller than the Albuquerque airport, the Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) offers a convenient option with a few direct flights from major cities.

New Mexico Rail Runner Express

For those flying into Albuquerque, we recommend taking the New Mexico Rail Runner Express to Santa Fe to enjoy some beautiful views of the New Mexico landscape! From Albuquerque International Sunport, you can catch an airport bus for free (with the purchase of your Rail Runner ticket in advance) to the downtown station and hop on the train to Santa Fe, which takes around an hour and a half.
