When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by January 1, 2025 to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance! The RSVP link can also be found on the wedding website homepage or through the QR code on your invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is evening cocktail. Evening cocktail attire is in between semi-formal and black-tie.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm (EST). You are welcome to come into the venue as early as 5pm. We recommend you arrive by 5:15pm in order to give you time to find a seat.

Where can I park for the wedding?

There is free parking in the Jackson Avenue Lot across the street from The Standard.

Can I take pictures or video of the ceremony?

Answer

We have paid for a professional photographer to capture how the ceremony looks, and we have invited you so you may experience how the ceremony feels. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographer. Some of these photos will be posted on social media for viewing purposes. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

What’s on the food menu for the reception?

Answer

We will be offering hors d’oeuvres of Italian meatballs, cranberry Brie bites, and jalapeño poppers. For dinner, we are serving Caesar salad, crisp garlic bread, and your entree choice of Cajun Alfredo with Chicken and Sliced Sausage (vegetarian and/or gluten free option available), Beef tenderloin with Ajus, or Bourbon Orange Glazed Salmon. All entrees will be served with garlic mashed potatoes, smoked mac-and-cheese, and bacon wrapped asparagus bundles.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are hosting a postnuptial Pickleball Brunch at the Pickleball Playground in Knoxville on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 10AM to 12PM.

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved blocks of rooms at the Graduate Knoxville. When booking, mention the Barron Jones Wedding for a discount.
