Andie is a devil. We should clarify - she's a Sun Devil, from Arizona State University. Fresh out of college she found herself back home in the Pacific Northwest, placing her hard earned Biology degree to the test as a digital marketing assistant. Living closer to family and her childhood stomping grounds, she figured it would be temporary, a prologue of sorts to the rest of her life's story - or at the very least her 20's. She did not expect this seemingly trivial decision to rewrite her dreams and propel her into a brand new tale - of love. Which leads us to our other protagonist, Lars. A proud Husky from the University of Washington, he had carved out a steady existence as a digital marketing specialist in Seattle. Squinting hard enough he could just make out the ghostly milestones of his life's path in the distance. Nothing would change them. Until someone did. "Welcome, Andrea Sanjines!" Lars was on a client call when Andie was introduced so a quick smile and a half hearted wave was all he could muster. Typically the personality type to allow the day's course to guide his interactions, Lars nonetheless felt compelled to approach Andie's desk with intent. "Sorry about earlier, I was on a call. I'm Lars." "Hi, I'm Andrea; you can call me Andie." "Andie? Nice to meet you!" "Nice to meet you too!" It wasn't long before the element of a PAC-12 rivalry surfaced. Eventually, a sports bet was placed: UW v. ASU - the losing alumni would treat the other to lunch. Years later, we both admit that even early on while we acquainted there was an undeniable synergy between us, as if our souls simply recognized and understood each other. While the Huskies tragically let Lars down that day, it has become clear who the true victor from this unexpected partnering is - Love. Our romance continues to be written and we're so blessed to be able to celebrate one of our many magical moments together, with you!
