Is a COVID-19 test required to travel to Hawaii?

Answer

Yes. All travelers ages 5+ need to obtain a negative COVID-19 test (NAAT) within 72 hours of their flight departure. 1)The State of Hawai‘i will ONLY accept Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test results from trusted testing and travel partners. HawaiiCOVID19.com/travel-partners 2) Prior to your arrival, if you are an adult (age 18 years or older) you will need to create an online user account and register with the State of Hawai‘i Safe Travels Hawai‘i program. https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/ 3) Before your flight, you must upload your negative COVID test to the Safe Travels Hawaii website. At this time, all islands require a negative COVID-19 test upon inter-island arrival, except for Oahu. What is "Tropical Formal"?

This is a tropical way of saying "cocktail attire". Essentially, no jeans or flip flops :) It will be warm! No jackets or ties required. Ladies! The ceremony and reception will take place on grass, plan your footwear appropriately :)
