Fate certainly had a hand in our meeting! Convinced by friends to download the new dating app called Tinder (we know, we know), neither of us held much hope in finding true love online. We were never even meant to meet! Our match radiuses were set to a few miles, we were never supposed to match clear across Los Angeles county. After a few days of flirty texts, we decided to meet in West Covina where poor Coyde had to fight 5 o’clock traffic some 30 miles (well over an hour for those not from the area) to meet his love for the first time. After a night of aimlessly walking around the Claremont Village, exchanging shy smiles and awkwardly holding hands, we were hooked. We say our anniversary is August 31st 2014 but the truth is from the moment we met we were never not together, we had finally found our other halves.
Fourth of July, 2019, Coyde changed their lives forever by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. Andie had been ready to say “YES!” for 4 years 10 months and 10 days (but who’s counting?). Throughout their relationship, Coyde had given Andie custom-made “Viewfinders”, with reels of 6 photos to remember the year by. Late in afternoon on the Fourth of July, Coyde handed Andie a brand new Viewfinder, with the 5 most important photos from their relationship. On the 6th picture, Andie was surprised by an image of the gorgeous ring which now adorns her left ring finger. When she pulled away the Viewfinder, Coyde was down on one knee and the rest is history!
