As of this moment, Cathedral Guadalupe is asking that all wedding guests wear masks the ceremony. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is requiring masks upon entry, but you are free to take it off to eat and drink during the reception! The Perot will also ask that guests sign a waiver, which will be sent out the week of the wedding to your emails. If you are unable to fill out the waiver online, there will be paper copies available as you walk in.
At this moment, we are unable to say exactly how many people will be attending the wedding, but both our ceremony and reception venues are large enough to accommodate every person we invited with room for social distancing!
We are SO sorry about the gap between the end of our ceremony and the beginning of our reception, but due to unforeseen circumstances it is completely unavoidable. We love you all so much and hope that you are able to spend both the afternoon and evening with us, but we totally understand if this is not an option for you. If you're looking for fun things to do around the area during this time, we have some ideas under our "Things to Do" tab!
Our ceremony will be a full mass which will last about an hour. This puts our ceremony end time between 4:00 and 4:15.
Yes! The ceremony parking will be at the Hall Arts Garage. We have a very limited amount of parking validation tickets so we recommend carpooling, taking an uber, or walking from your hotel (the Sheraton is just a 6 minute walk!). The parking rate is variable based on events in the area. The reception at the Perot will have complimentary valet parking, but we highly encourage you to call an uber or catch a ride, especially if you plan on drinking!
Absolutely! Head over to our "Travel" tab to find out more about our room block with the Sheraton and a few of other recommendations we have.
We will try our best to make any accommodations available for those with specific food requests, but unfortunately we can't make any guarantees. Please feel free to reach out to Andie with your concerns!
