This is the story of how Andi met her Mitch

Andi and Mitch's first date was a walk around Wicker Park with a stop at the Wormhole coffee shop, a stroll on the 606 trail, and a stop at his friend Mubarak's house to drop off keys he had borrowed. Yes, Mitch planned his first date with his future wife all around returning keys to his friend's house. Despite that, both Andi and Mitch left their first date thinking there may be a connection. Mitch knew he liked Andi because she laughed at everything he said. Andi knew she liked Mitch because he was very kind and stood in between Andi and the fast moving bikers on the trail. Over the next few dates, their spark grew. Andi, who had just moved from Washington D.C. to Chicago, couldn't believe a relationship seemed to be blossoming with the very first guy she went on a date with in her new city. Mitch couldn't believe a relationship was forming with by far the smartest, coolest, kindest, and best looking woman he had ever dated. As their relationship grew, they soon realized how much they had in common — they are the oldest siblings in their families with similar career trajectories, and a shared love of giraffes, sushi, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Mitch liked to joke that if they weren’t dating, it felt like they could’ve been related. There were some fun and memorable dates early on in their relationship that really sealed the deal for Andi and Mitch. There was a very important one at a brewery where Andi's perfect angel dog Mia would meet Mitch's excitable, playful dog Tony. Both Mia and Tony got along great and it was a massive relief to both Andi and Mitch. After two years of dating — and one year of living together — both Andi and Mitch knew it was time to take the next step. In the summer of 2025, Mitch had the best moment of his life: he won his first-ever slow-pitch softball championship...he also proposed to Andi with some help from Mia, Tony and their families. Both are moments they'll cherish forever. Now, Andi and Mitch can’t wait to make it official and celebrate with all of their favorite people in Chicago. Get ready for a weekend filled with love, laughter, and moments they’ll never forget.
