McMenamins Kennedy School

Probably the most fun and uniquely Portland lodging option, and surprisingly affordable! McMenamins has locations all around the PNW which are all very unique, and the Kennedy School is one of their more well-known venues. It has its own restaurant, movie theatre, and soaking pools!

Homewood Suites by Hilton Vancouver-Portland

This hotel is in Vancouver, but it is near the Columbia River (nice views) and very close to the I-5 bridge and the Oregon state line, about a 16-20 minute drive from the venue. Homewood Suites are nice if you want more room and your own kitchenette, and is good for racking up some Hilton Points if you're a frequent traveler.

This is a cute boutique hotel near the Convention Center, but still not terribly far from the venue (about a 10-12 minute drive). There is a rooftop restaurant/bar with great views of the city that should hopefully be open by October!

Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center

Also near the Convention Center and a short 10-12 minute drive from the venue, The Courtyard by Marriott is a solid choice and good for points if you are a frequent traveler.
