Campus Martius

Campus Martius is magical in the winter! This is the heart of downtown Detroit and we highly encourage a visit if you've never been to Detroit. During the winter months there's a skating rink and holiday market, with specialty drinks. While you're there, explore Woodward Ave shopping right around the corner.

This Middle-eastern restaurant is super popular among metro-Detroiters and just around the corner from Dearborn Inn.

Holiday Nights Greenfield Village

This special event at Greenfield Village takes visitors back in time to experience the magic of Christmas throughout different points in American history. Attending Holiday Nights is our annual tradition and Cullen proposed in front of the Martha-Mary Chapel just last year during the event. Andi recommends listening to carolers in front of City Hall on the Village Green and Cullen recommends stopping to grab a hot beef sandwich and hot coco. Tickets sell out fast for this special event, so grab them early!

CJ's Brewing Company

If you're willing to drive a little ways (20ish minutes) head on over to our favorite hometown spot! CJ's has the best beer and Detroit-style pizza. We recommend ordering a Carnivore and BLT pizza (just trust us). If you're looking for a healthy option, order the Brussel sprout app. Cullen recommends ordering the Lower Straits Stout, it's his favorite. We usually go to the Commerce Township location, but Plymouth is closer!!
