When should I book my trip?

We recommend booking flights and your resort stay as early as possible to secure the best rates and availability.

Where should I stay: Dreams or Secrets?

Answer

Our wedding is at Dreams Vallarta Bay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, but the resort is actually split into two sides: Dreams and Secrets. Dreams is family-friendly and allows all ages. Secrets is adults-only (18+). If you stay on the Secrets side, you can go over to the Dreams side as much as you want. If you stay on the Dreams side, you can only go to Secrets by paying a $50 per person, per day fee. We will be staying on the Dreams side!

How should I book my trip?

Answer

We suggest booking your trip through Expedia, so you are able to book the hotel and flights in a package, which is the most convenient. Also it is cheaper if you book more than one person at a time!

Will I need a passport to travel to Puerto Vallarta?

Answer

Yes! A valid passport is required for all guests traveling to Mexico. Please check your passport expiration date and allow plenty of time if you need to renew or apply.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Think light, breathable fabrics and soft breezy tones perfect for a tropical setting. Gentlemen: lean into linen suits in sandy beige or pale hues—effortless yet elegant. Ladies: pastels, floral prints, or soft neutrals in flowy chiffon or lightweight cotton will look stunning and stay cool. Footwear? Skip the heels—opt instead for chic sandals or dressy flats that are beach-friendly. Let comfort and coastal charm guide your look!

What should I pack?

Answer

Light, breathable clothing for daytime (shorts, swimsuits, sundresses, cover-ups) and a few nicer outfits for dinners at and outside of the resort. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for the beach! We also recommend bringing some small bills for tipping the wonderful resort staff who will be taking care of us during the trip.

What does “all-inclusive” mean?

Answer

Since Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa is all-inclusive, your trip package will cover unlimited food, drinks (including cocktails), and most activities at the resort. You can relax and enjoy without worrying about extra costs, aside from optional spa treatments, excursions, tips for staff, or anything needed outside of the resort.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa is family-friendly, and kids are more than welcome to join the celebration. Secrets Vallarta Bay, however, is not family-friendly.

Will we get time to hang out outside of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! That’s one of the reasons we chose an all-inclusive resort. We’d love for everyone to spend time together, whether it’s relaxing by the pool, hitting the beach, grabbing a drink at the bar, or going to dinner. Our wedding is more than just one day, it’s a whole trip of memories with the people we love most.

Do you need my flight and hotel information?

Answer

Yes, please! Once you book your flights and hotel stay, kindly send us your confirmations. This will help us keep track of everyone’s arrival and make sure we’re all connected during the trip, as well as knowing how long you will be there.

Are you accepting gifts / registry? Or a honey fund? No gifts needed?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! We don’t have a registry and are not expecting gifts since we know traveling to Puerto Vallarta is already a big expense. If you still wish to gift us, we’ll be so grateful for any gesture.
