Are there any new COVID rules or precautions?

Answer

Due to the growing number of positive cases in our communities, we strongly advise that any guests attending receive a negative COVID test within within 72-48 hours of the wedding, regardless of vaccination status. We'd like for the big day to be as safe as possible and for our guests with underlying conditions to feel comfortable attending. Will and Kelsey will be getting their tests done as well. What safety measures are you taking for COVID?

Answer

-There will be hand sanitizer stations around the venue for your convenience. Please use them continuously throughout the night. -Seats will not be crowded and each individual will be given space. -All vendors will be wearing masks at all times. -Gloved and masked servers will be handling the food in the buffet line instead of guests. But please do not hesitate to ask for more or less of something. You KNOW Kelsey will be asking for extra cheese. -Lounge sets and games will be spread out for your comfort.

What safety measures or guidelines would you like me to abide by?

Answer

Thank you for asking! -Please bring your own masks or whatever you need to feel comfortable. We will also provide masks for anyone who would like one. -The venue is all outdoors, but if you are within three feet from someone who you do not reside with please wear a mask. -Please use the hand sanitizer and hand washing stations around the venue throughout the night, in addition to before any drinks and food are served. -Please respect others' bodily autonomy by asking for permission before closely approaching, hugging or shaking the hand of someone who you do not reside with. -While waiting in line for drinks, food, or restrooms, etc. please keep a distance of at least 3 feet from the person in front of and behind you.

I am vaccinated and/or I do not feel the need to wear a mask. Do I still need to abide by these guidelines?

Answer

In short, yes please! The bride and groom are fully vaccinated as of March 2021. However, the bride is immunocompromised and so are some guests. We would ask that all of our guests take certain precautions when appropriate. Regardless of our personal beliefs or vaccination status, we know that respecting other guests in attendance is key to a fun and safe evening for us all. Please ask and communicate to others your vaccination status and any preferences/ precautions taken by you or your family. We would greatly appreciate it if all guests in attendance respect the autonomy and choices of others by taking the safety guidelines seriously. Thank you for understanding!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Anywhere from cocktail to garden attire is acceptable. We just want you to feel comfortable! Please keep in mind that there will be gravel and dirt ground at the venue.

How difficult is the venue to find?

Answer

It is directly off the street on the left hand side. If parking is full, please look for Chivers street.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! The only children in attendance will be family of the bride or groom. Please double check your invites for the number of guests allotted.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

There is not, but there are Ubers in the area to take you to and from the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
