Due to the current state of the pandemic, and all the uncertainty around when this will all end, we have made the decision to postpone our wedding celebrations. At this point, we are not sure when we will reschedule. This decision was not easy, but we value the health of our loved ones more than anything. We feel incredibly blessed that we were able to be married on June 3rd, 2020 via a civil ceremony, but we can't wait to have our Greek Orthodox wedding and have all of you be a part of this journey. Your love, and support means the world to us, and we can not wait to hug each one of you! Kayla & Christopher
We are a bummed, but we know that this is what is best for not only our loved ones, but the larger community as a whole. The only thing that we need is the continued love and support from all of you. This is such a scary time, and we can't wait to see you all when this passes. Please remember to wash your hands, practice social distancing, and stay in contact with your loved ones. We will make it out of this a-okay!
Sending apologies and laughs. I put the invitations together myself, and it appears that some may be missing RSVP cards (good thing- we are postponing right? :P) You should have received an invitation, an RSVP card with a pre-stamped envelope, as well as a "details" insert. If you didn't receive all of this, please send an email to kaylastar08@gmail.com and I will send you a new one.
That one is completely up to you! We will never say no to receiving mail, but please don't feel pressured to send them back right away.
While we want everyone to be able to create photographic memories, we ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer and we would prefer that everyone enjoy the ceremony with us, rather than focus on getting the perfect shot. We will be sharing our photos with everyone, and we don't want you to miss out.
Men are required to wear a coats and tie at the Reception Venue, and comparable attire for ladies.
Columbia Country Club is roughly 5 miles away from Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral. We have printed out directions for anyone needing assistance in finding the venue, and will provide this after the ceremony.
