We're Getting Married!

After a long work week and first week of spring semester of NP school, Shawn made dinner like he normally does on Friday nights. Amanda insisted on working out after since they just indulged on vacation. While Amanda was showering, Shawn quickly set up a chest he built with a red rose and lit candles around the living room. Amanda was oblivious to the romantic gesture and complimented his hard work on the chest. Shawn kept hinting to open the chest, and Amanda insisted on taking pictures for friends and family to see his craftsmanship, as well as making small talk about the details of the chest. When Amanda finally opened the chest, there was an engraved sign that read, "Will you marry me?" with red roses and a ring box on the inside. Shawn then got down on one knee and proposed to spend the rest of their lives together. We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with our close family and friends!
