At this time we are requesting that all guests (kids included) take and receive a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of attending our wedding. We believe this is the best way to keep everyone safe on our special day. If you are experiencing Cold or Flu symptoms on the day of our wedding, please contact Deanna Anderson (952) 567-9134 to decline invitation.
There is no need to show the results of your covid test. This is a request that we are making and we are trusting that individuals who receive a positive COVID-19 test result will not attend. If your test result is positive or you have not received your results in time, please inform the mother of the bride, Deanna Anderson (952-567-9134) of the attendance change.
Yes, we are requesting that everyone, including those who are vaccinated, take a COVID test prior to attending. This is for everyone's safety due to the fact that vaccinated individuals can still get AND spread COVID-19. Here is some additional reading (dated: 11/12/21) for those who are curious. https://www.startribune.com/breakthrough-infections-rise-in-minnesota-but-unvaccinated-at-greatest-covid-19-risk/600115932/
PCR and Antigen tests are acceptable. Antigen tests (BinaxNOW or similar) you can take at home and get results within 15 minutes of taking the test (please note antigen tests are not as reliable as PCR). If you decide to take an antigen test please do so on the day of the wedding for the most reliable results. All Minnesotans have access to zero cost PCR salavia tests through the state (at home or in-person). VAULT is the lab that processes all of these tests and they take 24-48 hours to get the results (longer if you do at home & mail-in).
