Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Answer

Both are at Hidden River! The ceremony will be outside (weather-dependent) by the River. Afterwards, it’s a short walk to the tent where the reception will take place.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:45 to give yourself time to park and walk to the ceremony site.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! As you drive down Hidden River drive, there will be signs and attendants directing you to the parking lot (a big grass field). It’s less than a 5 minute walk from there to both the ceremony site and reception tent but there will be a shuttle for anyone who needs assistance!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Asheville in April is hard to predict! It can range from 45-65 degrees. The ceremony will be outside, and will hopefully take advantage of the warmest time of day. A shawl or cardigan may be a good idea. The reception is inside and will be heated if it’s a cold day!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We have a shuttle that will stop at both hotels before the ceremony and have 2 return trips scheduled.

What is your plan given the circumstances with COVID?

Answer

Deciding to proceed with our wedding was a very difficult decision. But being in healthcare, us and many of our guests will be fully vaccinated before the wedding. If anyone feels uncomfortable attending the wedding we completely understand!
