Doug and Lauren met in 2016 at AJ’s Sports Bar where Lauren bartends and Doug works next door at Reeds Ferry Sheds. Two years later, in September 2018, they reconnected thanks to mutual friends and a trip to the US Virgin Islands. A little over three years later, Doug got down on one knee at the Oceancliff Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island on January 23, 2022. Doug and Lauren enjoy spending there time going out with their close friends for dinner and drinks, spending time with their families, and camping with their friends and two pups, Chevy and Harlee! Doug and Lauren are so excited for this next chapter in their lives, and can’t wait to get married in front of all the people that mean the most to them!
