Wedding Party

Introducing the people who tolerate Marisha & Larnell enough to walk them down the aisle.

Destiny Wigg

Matron of Honor

Marisha and Destiny first met in April of 2013 during their ASU orientation, and their friendship has only grown stronger since. Through the highs and lows of adulthood, Destiny has been by Marisha's side every step of the way. Their connection is so deep that in 2022, they both gave birth exactly one month apart. There are truly no words that can fully capture the strength of their bond and the immense love they share. Destiny is more than a friend—she’s Marisha’s other soul mate. 🤍

Lexus Robertson

Matron of Honor

In 2002, at Marisha’s cousin’s birthday party at the Utah Pool in Aurora, Colorado, fate brought Lexus into her life when Tabby’s friend brought her daughter along. From that moment on, their friendship was born, and for the past 23 years, Lexus and Marisha have been by each other’s side—celebrating successes and offering a shoulder to cry on when needed. Their bond is the epitome of forever friendship, and now, their boys will have the chance to create their own lasting connection. 🤍

Kahlea Khabir

Bridesmaid

Kahlea and Marisha had both been part of the Denver Theatre scene growing up, frequently crossing paths, but it wasn’t until August of 2006—on the first day of 6th grade—that their friendship truly began. Marisha spotted Kahlea at her locker, rushed over, and excitedly said, "Hey, I know you! You were Madeline this summer." Kahlea, a bit taken aback by Marisha’s boldness, admitted she was initially weirded out, but that fearless personality became something they both shared. As the "weird artsy kids," their bond was forged, and the rest is history. 🤍

Harmony Wren

Bridesmaid

Harmony and Marisha first crossed paths during their freshman year at ASU, living in the same dorm. What began as a casual friendship quickly deepened as they discovered how much they had in common. Over the years, they became inseparable, supporting each other through heartbreaks—singing along to Keyshia Cole in the car—and celebrating every victory together after games. From those college days in Arizona to moving away to chase their dreams, their bond only grew stronger. Now, they're navigating the beautiful chaos of parenthood and marriage, continuing to share in both the joys and the challenges of life. 🤍

Marcela Chavez

Bridesmaid

Marci and Marisha’s friendship began when they started working together at DCAC, instantly connecting over tacos, tequila, and plenty of chisme. Marci became the older, more laid-back version of Marisha, and together, they have the power to turn any place into a party with their contagious laughter and dance moves. Marci is the kind of friend who’s always there—loyal, supportive, and ready to go to the ends of the earth when you need her. 🤍

Jenna Ladsten

Bridesmaid

In July 2017, Marisha had just moved to Dallas when a friend invited her to a party to meet new people. Jenna was the host of that party and, like Marisha, had also just moved to the city. The two hit it off immediately. They spent their 20s partying together, but as time went on, their nights shifted to wine-downs and cookie-baking classes, always filled with conversations about everything under the sun. Jenna is the kind of friend everyone should have, and now she gets to walk beside Marisha as they step into their 30s together. 🤍

Scottie Stobaugh

Bridesmaid

Sometimes, the length of time you've known someone doesn’t define the depth of your friendship, and Scotlyn Beth is the perfect example of this for Marisha. Their shared love of sushi, uncontrollable laughter over random things, and cozy nights spent binge-watching their favorite shows brought them together. Even though they only met two years ago, their connection was instant—they simply get each other and were meant to be the best of friends. 🤍

Sef Soliz

Best Man

Sef and I have been friends for 26 years, but our connection didn’t start traditionally. I first noticed him in fifth grade and knew I wanted to be his friend, even though he had no clue who I was. I’d greet him in the hallways, and he’d give me a look like, “Who’s this guy?” By sixth grade, fate (and a little persistence) finally brought us together in the same class and on the same peewee football team. From that point on, Sef and I were inseparable, playing side by side on the football field through to a semi-professional league. But more than that, he’s always been there for me—watching my back not just in games, but in life. Sef is more than a friend; he’s a brother, and having him by my side on this day means everything.

Cory Anderson

Groomsman

Cory is my younger brother, the middle child in our family, and my very first friend. Growing up, we embarked on countless adventures, facing challenges that tested us time and again. No matter the adversity, we always came out on top, which is why our bond is so strong. Cory is incredibly talented at everything he sets his mind to. He’s an amazing dancer, athlete, and coach, excelling in every role he takes on. Beyond that, he’s taught me what it truly means to be a father. I’m proud to have him by my side, sharing in this special moment and celebrating our unbreakable brotherhood.

Clifton Simmons

Groomsman

In 2010, I met my brother Clifton. He had been searching for me for years, and ever since, he has been a positive and uplifting presence in my life. From the beginning, I could tell he genuinely cared about me and the choices I made. We built our friendship and brotherly bond from scratch, but it felt natural and effortless. Clifton is an incredible entertainer who never fails to make me laugh, even to this day. I’m so grateful he came into my life, and I’m honored to have him celebrate with me on my special day.

Jordan Gay

Groomsman

By all accounts, Jordan is my cousin. We first met in intermediate school back in 1998, and he has treated me like a little brother ever since. He’s always been there to pull the occasional practical joke but never let anyone else mess with me. In high school, Jordan trained me to win the same competition he had conquered the year before—a true testament to his belief in me. After high school, our bond only grew stronger as he helped me navigate life’s many side quests. Jordan is not just a great man but also a dependable friend I can always count on. I am privileged to have you in my life and standing beside me on my wedding day.

Greg Showell

Groomsman

Greg has been my right-hand guy since I ran for student council president in sixth grade. He was one of my first friends after moving to northeast San Antonio, and I quickly realized I had to step up my humor game because Greg’s sense of humor is unmatched. We’ve shared countless memories where he had me laughing so hard I was in tears. Greg has taught me not just how to laugh but also the true meaning of loyalty and support in a friendship. He’s the ultimate hype man, blessed with the gift of gab, and his confidence shines through his unmatched style. Our brotherhood is unbreakable, and I’m truly blessed to have him by my side to celebrate this special time.

Eli Cruz

Groomsman

Cruz is another one of my friends that my mother considers a brother. We met in high school while working together at Taco Cabana, and there was never a dull moment—whether at work or in our friendship. Cruz has always been the one to check in on me, keep me focused on my goals, and motivate me to achieve them. He’s taught me the importance of grinding hard while staying humble. Cruz knows how to break the ice in any room. He’s outspoken, tenacious, and exactly the kind of person you want in your corner during any moment. Time and again, he’s proven that our bond goes far beyond friendship, and I’m proud to have him standing by my side to celebrate this special day.

Pablo Morales

Groomsman

Pablo and I go way back—25 years to be exact. We met in sixth grade, where we bonded over a... unique experience involving our teacher and an ill-timed fart on our desk. Since then, he’s been a steadfast friend, always looking out for me through thick and thin. Direct and headstrong, Pablo might be short in stature, but he makes up for it with his big personality and occasional pearls of wisdom. From being my freshman-year college roommate to countless adventures that still leave us laughing, Pablo has been a constant in my life, and I’m honored to have him by my side on this big day.
