Michael and Zoey first crossed paths in July of 2017 when they were placed in the same division during Navy bootcamp. However, it wasn't until they were assigned to the same class during their Corpsman training in Texas that they became best friends. But while Zoey only saw them as friends in the beginning, Michael had quickly fallen in love. Graduation came and went, and they both went seperate ways, Michael to Cuba and Zoey to California, but they continued to stay in touch throughout the years. Finally in April of 2021, four years later, Zoey made the trip out to Chicago to see Michael where they began dating. Then in May of 2022, Michael came out to California to visit, but unknown to Zoey, he had a bigger surprise planned. Later during his visit, they had a couple's photoshoot in Sacramento, where Michael proposed! Now here we are today planning our wedding that we can't wait to celebrate with all of our family and friend's!
