Naomi is from Fremont, California, and loves softball, golf, trying new food, fiber arts, and meeting new people. She grew up with her parents and sister, and was involved in church, wushu, attending baseball games, and ice skating. She grew up wanting to be an engineer and decided that is what she was going to pursue in college. In 2021, shortly after her softball and golf career in high school, she packed up and moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State University for Mechanical Engineering, emphasizing in bioengineering. Jacob grew up in San Diego, California, in a rowdy house full of brothers and a few sisters. He played many hours outside doing various physical activities, such as skating, surfing, football, and basketball. He, along with his family, was involved in a local church and many church-adjacent programs, like Awana. He still enjoys playing basketball and working on cars. He quickly achieved his Associate's Degree in Computer Science shortly after high school and entered the workforce. A few years after working full-time, he decided and was encouraged to go back to college and get his bachelor's degree. In 2022, he got accepted and started attending San Diego State University for Computer Engineering. Jacob and Naomi met at a Christian club at San Diego State University. They were the only two engineering students there and bonded quickly over that. Over the course of a year, they became good friends through attending bible studies, studying for long hours in the library, and trying various food spots across San Diego. In the summer of 2023, Jacob asked Naomi out on a date when she came back to San Diego for school. They were both excited and nervous about what God had in store for them. Their first date was during the historic hurricane watch in August of 2023, and that is where their relationship started blooming. In March of 2025, Jacob asked Naomi to marry him, and she said, "YES!" They both still like attending church together and trying new food spots. Jacob tries to get Naomi involved in his basketball and cars, and Naomi tries to get Jacob involved in her fiber arts. They are very excited to start this new chapter together and see where and how God grows them. They will be starting this new chapter in San Diego, still involved in church, still sharing their hobbies, and excited to grow old together.
