We were acquainted through mutual friends in late 2013. After seeing each other at gatherings of friends, we grew closer and found ourselves spending time together almost daily.

After our hangouts quietly turned into dates, we were ready to share with the world that we were together (and sooo happy)!

On our family vacation to Maui, Hawaii, we spent a day driving around the island with plans to visit Haleakala National Park. At the bottom of the mountain was Ali'i Lavender Farms, where we spent some time looking out at the island, taking in the fresh fragrances of lavender, sipping on lavender lemonade. We started an hour long journey up windy roads to get to the top of Haleakala, some 10,000 feet above sea level. It was the most quiet and peaceful place we'd ever been. Together, we walked down a path to view some of the volcanic craters and found an area where we could sit and take in all the beauty surrounding us. We stood to walk some more when Morgan had me take a posed photo of him looking out to the volcanoes. After snapping the photo he said it was my turn. As I looked out, Morgan told me to turn around, to which I would see him kneeling on one knee for me. In this moment, he asked me to marry him and I couldn't have been more surprised! We absolutely cannot wait to celebrate the beginning of our next adventure with you all!
