Spoleto Arts Festival
For 17 days and nights each spring, Spoleto Festival USA fills Charleston’s historic theaters, churches, and outdoor spaces with performances by renowned artists as well as emerging performers in opera; theater; dance; and chamber, orchestral, choral, jazz, and contemporary music. It just so happens it starts the same weekend you’ll be in town!

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
See where Kate and Brennan got engaged! The plantation was home to the Drayton family who acquired the original 400-acre plantation along the banks of the Ashley River from Stephen Fox. Their garden development from the 1840s is now the plantation’s claim to fame.
Sullivan's Island
Sullivan’s Island is known for its pristine beaches, historic sites like Fort Moultrie, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with upscale dining and shops, particularly along Middle Street. Some of our favorite places there are Poe’s Tavern, The Obstinate Daughter, and Republic Ice Cream!
