FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We recommend arriving between 1:30 PM and 1:45 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to find a seat and get settled. Please keep in mind that the venue is approximately a 30-minute drive from downtown Omaha.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests join us in formal attire. For men, this typically means a suit and tie; for women, a floor-length or midi-length dress or a dressy suit. Please, no denim or shorts. Beyond that, feel free to wear any color or pattern that makes you feel your best—we just ask that you leave the white and cream!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, if you would like to honor us with a gift, we are registered on our wedding website, as well as on Amazon and Williams Sonoma. https://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/n5hw5rrclc/registry-list.html https://www.amazon.com/wedding/organize-registry?ref_=gr-home-wedding-viewyr

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Hotel accommodations can be found on the "Travel" tab of our website.

Question

Can I bring a date/are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the capacity of our venue, we can accommodate only the guests listed on your wedding invitation. When you RSVP on our website, the names of all invited members of your party will automatically appear. If your invitation is addressed to you 'and Guest' or 'The [Last Name] Family,' then we have a spot reserved for them! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available for the ceremony and reception. However, if you plan on celebrating at the reception with a few drinks, we highly recommend using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.

Question

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture the big moments! We kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so you can be fully present with us. We promise to share the professional photos with you later!

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Since our ceremony ends at 3 pm and cocktail hour doesn't start until 5 pm, we recommend checking out some of our favorite spots in Omaha! Check out our favorite local bars, restaurants, and coffee stops on the "Things To Do" tab!
