Anchorage
Anchorage is "the big city" of Alaska and is only 45 minutes from the wedding venue. After landing in Anchorage grab a bite to eat and explore historic downtown before setting off on your Alaskan Adventure! Don't forget to look for Beluga Whales and people surfing the bore tide in Turnagain Arm on your way out of town. Girdwood is nearly 40 miles and a 50 minute drive from Anchorage. Girdwood is only 15 minutes from the wedding venue and the town with the most places to stay for the wedding. Kenai/Soldotna
Anders' hometown! :) 158 miles and a three hour drive from Anchorage.
