FAQs

The Wedding Website of Anders LaPradd and Charlotte Johnson
Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Saint Irene's in Tualatin, Oregon. It's a beautiful, intimate venue that we fell in love with and know you will love, too. Fun fact, the venue is named for the owner's mother, who was a seamstress at Jantzen Swimwear, where the groom's Great-Uncle Bob worked for many years. Some credit Jantzen Swimwear with being the reason that the Newman family (the groom's mother's family) came to Oregon!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Our final RSVP date was October 15th! If your plans have changed, please contact the Bride or Groom by phone or email. Thank you!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors! November in Oregon usually means rain, and while we love our Pacific Northwest weather, we want to keep everyone cozy and dry.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We want everyone to feel beautiful and be able to dance!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! They will be listed on your invitation. If you receive an invitation that does not have your child included, let us know!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests will be welcomed into the venue at 4:00pm. If you arrive after the ceremony begins at 4:30pm, you will be asked to wait to enter the venue until cocktail hour begins.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that only guests who have been formally invited attend the wedding. If you have received a plus one on your invitation (it will say "and Guest" or their name) you are welcome to bring a date!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered right here on Zola! Click the "Registry" tab on the menu at the top of this page.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do! Please see our Travel tab for more information.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! The venue is located in an industrial park with plenty of parking.

Question

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

No, but there are hotels very close by so that you can easily Uber/Lyft to and from if you would rather not drive.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer there to capture the magic and ask that no photos be taken by guests during the ceremony. However, feel free to take photos during the reception!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be beer, wine, and some classic cocktails. There will also be mocktails and soft drinks, as well as a coffee and tea station.

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Because the reception officially ends at 9:00pm, we have secured an after-party location at Central Station Taps in downtown Beaverton. We chose that bar because it's right around the corner from the Hyatt House Hotel, and it is open until 11:00pm. This is an informal, unofficial after-party for anyone interested in keeping the celebration going! Only for guests 21 and older.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

By all means, please tell us about any allergies! The wedding is being catered by La Industria, the excellent Mexican restaurant that shares space with Saint Irene's. There will be grazing boards during cocktail hour and a taco bar for dinner (with plenty of vegetarian options) and if you have any serious allergies or food restrictions, definitely let us know so that we can communicate that to the venue.
