What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code will be Cocktail Attire (cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suits, jackets and slacks). Overall we want our friends and family to wear something they are ready to celebrate and dance in. Your favorite outfit, is our favorite outfit.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We cannot accommodate plus ones unless indicated on your invite. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to budget/space constraints. We hope you are able to join us and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family!

Will the ceremony be taking place outdoors?
Answer
We are hoping to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside if the weather cooperates! Dinner and dancing will be inside following the cocktail hour.

Where do I stay?
Answer
Please see our travel section for more details as we have listed our room blocks and hotel options there, but Newport has endless options. We expect our guests to stay at a range of places in Newport including Airbnbs, inns, and hotels. Our travel section includes some more affordable options just outside Newport in Middletown. Please pick the best choice for you! Keep in mind things will book fast and pricing will go up quickly.

How do I get around?
Answer
Newport is very walkable but there are also pedicabs, ubers, limited taxis, and rental cars. Parking in downtown Newport can be tricky but contact your hotel for information about parking overnight. The welcome party and wedding venue both have ample parking. Additionally for the wedding events we are planning to provide shuttles from a few different common areas around Newport. Details will be provided closer to the wedding.

Belle Mer has a parking lot so feel free to drive and park. Additionally we are planning to provide a shuttle that will do a few pickups from common areas around Newport and Middletown. More details on the shuttle will be provided closer to the wedding.
