Although Evan cannot recall, our first encounter dates back to 2013 at the roller rink. Shortly after, Evan transferred to Newman Catholic, and we began to hang out in the same friend group. In high school, I was worried my dad being Evan’s football coach might scare him away, but we officially began dating our sophomore year and have been together ever since. In college, we were only 30 minutes apart, which allowed us to visit each other often. In 2023, Evan began spending his summers in Nashville, Tennessee, coaching baseball. After several visits to see him, he convinced me to join him for my 2L summer job. That summer turned into one we will never forget. In July, Evan asked me to marry him at Cheekwood Gardens & Estate, surprising me with our parents, siblings, and friends to celebrate. It was the most perfect day. What started as two high school kids hanging out turned into so much more than we could have imagined. We look forward to beginning this next chapter as husband and wife and feel so fortunate to be surrounded by the love and support of our family and friends.
