Question

So.... What are we drinkin?

Answer

We have planned to have an open bar until a monetary limit is reached then it will become a cash bar. Liqour will be availble for cocktail hour and an hour into the reception and beer and wine will be served the entire night. We put a substantial amount into the bar so if it becomes a cash bar pat yourselves on the back!

Can my kids come?

Answer

No. This is a child free event; and while we appreciate your children, they are not invited and we hope you are still able to attend without them. Our goal for the weekend is a fun filled evening with a vacation vibe and hope you can enjoy a weekend away. There will be absolutely no exceptions for any reason. We understand if you're unable to join us and we will miss having you!

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

All those invited have been named on each invitation, unfortunately we cannot accommodate any guests we did not originally plan for and only those named are invited.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask guests to arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

With the late October autumnal season, we expect the temperature to be in the 60's- 70's during the day and down to the 40's at night. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio, and the reception and dancing will be indoors. We will have games outside with plenty of room for socializing .

What should I wear?

Answer

We request formal attire and that female guests do NOT wear white, grey, or green as these are reserved for the bridal party.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The entire event will be held on the same property. There will be grass so please plan accordingly and then the cocktail hour and reception will be held in the venue and on the patio directly behind the ceremony site. Parking is available on site.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort we have a wedding block at Hampton Inn and Suites but there are a few other hotels in the area that have great rates as well! All the hotels are within 10 min drive of the venue and information can be found in the travel page.

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is a less than an hour and a half drive from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC. We suggest renting a car or carpooling with other guests to travel to White Sulphur Springs in Mt. Airy, NC. Parking is available at the venue. If you have any questions, please reach out to the bride.

Where can I bring or send a gift?

Please see registry page which will include our mailing address! Within the page is links to Walmart, target and amazon; just click the name of the store and it should take you to the registry within their site.

The hotel block is not working.. HELP!

Answer

Go to the travel section and read the instructions. If there is still issues or the hotel says the block is full reach out to the bride.
