Formal invitations with full details and your personalized RSVP link will be mailed out soon! In the meantime, feel free to browse the site for the latest updates. Once you receive your invitation, you’ll be able to RSVP easily online!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5:30 PM. Please arrive by 5:10–5:15 PM and be seated by 5:25 PM. Guests staying in our hotel blocks will have complimentary shuttles from the Marriott — schedule details will be sent closer to the date. We recommend using the shuttle so you can relax and enjoy the evening!

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely—children are welcome! While we haven’t arranged any special kids’ entertainment or activities, we’re happy to have them share in our special day. Please feel free to bring them along and supervise as needed. We’ll do our best to make sure there are some simple options they’ll enjoy.

Yes! Garden formal. We’re embracing an elegant garden party vibe. Think flowy floral, pastel, or soft-toned dresses (midi or maxi lengths preferred). Gentlemen, tailored suits, blazers with dress pants, or smart separates. No tuxedos or black-tie required.

Where should out-of-town guests stay?

While the wedding is in Tomball, Texas we recommend you stay in The Woodlands as there is more to do and is not far from the venue. We’ve booked a hotel block Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Guests who stay in our room block will receive complimentary transportation to and from the wedding. Other great options in The Woodlands include The Westin at The Woodlands, Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands, and Residence Inn by Marriott The Woodlands/Market Street.

Yes, there is on site parking at the venue!

What is there to do around the hotels?

Answer

Plenty — and most of it is walkable! The Waterway Marriott is surrounded by great restaurants, shopping, and outdoor spots. Enjoy waterfront dining and patios along The Woodlands Waterway, browse boutiques at Market Street, explore The Woodlands Mall, take a scenic stroll, or rent a kayak/swan boat. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and fun right outside your hotel door!

Which airport in Houston do I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) — it’s the closest and most convenient option for The Woodlands. IAH is only about 20–30 minutes from our hotels and wedding venue. From IAH, you will need to rent a car, take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to reach The Woodlands (there is no direct shuttle to our hotel blocks). William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is significantly farther away — about 45–60 minutes (or more with traffic) — so we strongly recommend IAH unless your flight schedule makes Hobby unavoidable.

What is the weather going to be?

While the ceremony and reception are both fully indoors and beautifully air-conditioned, August in Houston/The Woodlands is typically hot and humid. Daytime highs are usually in the low-to-mid 90s°F with high humidity, and evening temperatures stay warm (mid-to-upper 70s°F). Brief showers or thunderstorms are also common. We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable fabrics for your cocktail attire and comfortable shoes. If you’d like, bring a light wrap or layer in case the AC feels cool inside. Rain or shine, you’ll stay comfortable and dry the entire time — just focus on celebrating with us!
