Yeah! We'll be hosting a low-key hike (probably at Bradbury Mountain or another spot nearby) on Friday afternoon, followed by a bonfire and casual dinner at our house in Durham that evening. All are welcome on Friday, including kids and dogs. If you're a party animal, we might hit the town for a late night snack and drinks after the reception on Saturday, too.
We are looking forward to an intimate celebration with our closest family and friends, and also must limit the number of attendees due to the venue's capacity, so we won’t be extending invitations to plus ones. (Talk to us if you meet someone special between now and November!)
Sorry, nope! We love your kids, but are excited to enjoy an adult-only evening with you without distraction. Kids are more than welcome on Friday for the bonfire at our house.
Sure do! Please check out our "Lodging & Travel" page for hotel block information.
Let us know if you have any serious allergies and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Vegetarians will find suitable options on our menu.
Valet parking is available at The Press Hotel for $10. Street and lot parking is also available nearby. The venue is located on the corner of Congress and Market, you can find a map of parking in town here: https://www.portlandmaine.gov/DocumentCenter/View/8820/Downtown-Parking-Facilities---Survey-Map?bidId=
Not officially. If you are staying at The Press Hotel, you are already there! If you're staying at The Westin, it is a 15 minute walk to the ceremony and reception site, or there is a complimentary hotel shuttle.
