Newtown Farmer's Market
The Newtown PA Dutch Farmer's Market is open Thursday - Saturday. They have delicious soft baked pretzels and lots of other goodies. If you're driving to Newtown, this is definitely a good place to stock up on snacks for the drive home!
Washington Crossing Historic Park
Visit the historic location where George Washington crossed the Delaware River during the Revolutionary War. While you're here visit Bowman's Hill Tower for a sweeping view of Bucks County.
Longwood Gardens

Spring Lake
There are some lovely beaches in New Jersey that are only an hour away from Newtown. If the weather is nice, this is a great day trip!

For our out of town guests, NYC might be an exciting destination for you! Newtown is located about 70 miles from NYC, and is easily accessible by car (about 1 hour 45 minutes) or train (NJ transit express trains take about 60 minutes). If you take NJ transit, Hamilton station is the closest stop from Newtown.
