If you are planning to attend please contact our travel agent for more information on booking and confirming your hotel (if needed) and cruise reservations. Planning on coming but when do I book?

Answer

We do have a coordinated Hotel room block in Fort-Lauderdale for those that are arriving early. We also have reserved a number of rooms through the cruise directly. In order to plan accordingly and to ensure you have an available room - please contact Dwight asap. While we have some rooms left I dont want you to miss out. You can book a reservation now for $250 per person adult now; and then have until Oct 19 2026 to make the final payment. Please contact Dwight if you would like more information on booking.

Coming to your wedding but I can't do a cruise. Can I still attend?

Answer

We completely understand that a seven-day cruise might not be feasible for everyone. We appreciate your willingness to celebrate with us, and we would be thrilled to have you attend our wedding, even if its just for a part of the celebration. Your presence means a lot to us, and we look forward to celebrating together! Travel costs for our 7-day cruise and flying to Fort Lauderdale will vary widely depending on when you book, flight options, and the level of cabin you are interested in. I recommend checking with Dwight for costing amounts for the cruise, and hotel accommodations for the most accurate and up-to-date pricing. For example, (as of Nov 2025) Tru by Hilton - Fort Lauderdale Room Block: $189 per night - includes airport shuffle and breakfast. Celebrity Beyond - 7 night St Thomas, St Kitts, & Puerto Plata Veranda room (Sleeps up to 4) with a balcony = $2,157 for 2 people ($1,079 per adult) Veranda room with balcony with DRINK PKG + WIFI = $3,346 for 2 adults ($1,673 per adult) We have a lock on room availability but our hold does not lock the room rates. Please contact Dwight in order to lock in your rate. There are more affordable cabin types or much more luxurious, high-end options depending on your preference. Choosing your room will be up to you!

Expect warm day time temperatures to be around 79-85F (26-29C) each day, night-time low around 72-78F (22-25C). At Sea temperatures will average 79-85F. Pack your bathing suites and sunscreen! All sit-down dinners are "SMART CASUAL" for men - polo/collared shirts, button down, dress pants or jeans. Buffets are casual They also typically have an "ALL WHITE NIGHT" or a "GLITTER NIGHT" theme night. We completely understand that everyone has their own unique circumstances that may not allow them come celebrate with us. Can you decline on the RSVP section of our website. We also understand that travel costs are an important factor in making your decision. Feel free to check the travel options and costs, and let us know your RSVP on our wedding website when you are ready. We appreciate your consideration and hope to celebrate together if you can make it!

Never been on a cruise before, I'm worried about motion sickness or small spaces...

Answer

We understand that some of you are feeling a bit anxious about going on a cruise, especially if its your first time! We want to reassure you that modern cruise ships, especially like the Celebrity Beyond, are designed with comfort and high-end experience in mind. They have plenty of open spaces and large balconies, allowing you to enjoy fresh air and beautiful views for your leisure. In our experience, on Celebrity Edge Series Ships (luxury high-end series) we have never encountered large crowds that make the ship feel cramped by any means, and if you feel motion at all it will be gentle. Many people find that they dont experience seasickness at all on such a well designed large cruise, especially given the time of year and departure location. If you are still feeling uncertain, please let us know, and we can share more tips on how to make you feel at ease. We are excited for the adventure and want everyone to have a fantastic experience.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! Please rsvp and make sure to secure your room block. Typically the third and four guests sails for free!!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one! Please indicate their attendance when you RSVP. If you would like to invite others that are have not been sent an invite that ok too. Please contact Dwight, they are more than welcome to be added to our room block. We will have to consider their attendance at St Thomas for our off the boat celebration. Attendance is limited.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start 12:30 PM at Sapphire Beach off the boat on January 6th. We have coordinated off the boat transportation that will bring you from boat side to our venue. Our boat is expected to arrive into port at 10:30 AM. AST (local time). PLEASE try to be boat side no later than 11:15 in order to catch out transportation. Coordinated group transportation will leave PROMPTLY at 11:30 AM AST Please plan to depart the boat 15 minutes before transportation leaves in order to allow for enough time. DONT FORGET YOUR SEAPASS CARDS.

To RSVP, simply navigate to the RSVP tab on our wedding website. We kindly request that you submit your response at your earliest convenience to help us finalize our wedding plans. You will NOT have an RSVP return card to return. Everything will be virtual.

If rain threatens our special day, our ceremony will seamlessly transition indoors at the Sapphire Beach Club. Our experienced wedding planner has carefully prepared alternative arrangements to ensure a beautiful celebration, regardless of the weather. Rain or shine, we're committed to creating an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Yes, we welcome you to capture the special moments of our ceremony! We ask that you use our wedding hashtag #anchoredINLOVE2027 when sharing photos on social media. Our professional photographer will be shooting the day, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration while still snapping a few of your own memories.
