Five years ago, we met at a Halloween party, and somehow that one night turned into our forever. We started going on simple dates to really get to know each other, made it official a month later, and just two months after that, on a quiet Sunday morning, we got married through the court with only two of my friends as witnesses. We chose to keep it intimate because we always wanted our families’ first time seeing us say our vows to be in a room filled with love and celebration. Over the years, we’ve had many ups and downs that shaped and strengthened us — including four months of deployment that tested us in ways we didn’t expect. In our hardest seasons, we found ourselves turning to God, asking Him to protect our marriage and guide us, and somehow He always carried us through. We got our dream dog, traveled through Mexico and across the U.S., and built a life that feels like home. Now, after everything we’ve experienced and overcome, we’re choosing to stand before the church and finally have the wedding celebration we’ve always dreamed of, surrounded by all the people we love. 🤍
