FAQs

If you have any questions other than we've listed here please don't hesitate to reach out! (Unless it's the week of the wedding then just figure it out yourself)
Question

Wait so where is the wedding???

Answer

At Bill and Jo Gray's home in Holland, MI!

Question

Wait so when is the wedding?

Answer

May 30th!

Question

Why did you get engaged so soon?

Answer

WHEN YOU KNOW YOU KNOW!

Question

Will there be a meat option for dinner? What about a vegan option?

Answer

We are trying to create a very inclusive wedding menu. Nicholas is is planning a grazing table replete with Cheese and Charcuterie, Falafel and Hummus, Salads, Fruits, etc. There will be options for Vegan and Gluten Free Folks - just be sure to note it on your RSVP!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation and bring only those whose names are listed. Justin and Nicholas both have large families and want to keep their celebration as intimate as possible.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Please follow the same guidelines as "plus ones" if we have listed your children, significant other, spouse, etc. on your invitation please bring the whole gang. However, if we have not, we respectfully ask that you leave the others at home for the evening. Even if we have invited your children please be mindful that this will be a classy affair and everyone will need to leave their shoes and ties on. If you think you'd be able to relax more if you had a babysitter for the evening we completely understand and encourage that choice!

Question

Where can I stay? How will I get to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please refer to the Travel page of our website! If you'd prefer to take your own transportation or find your own lodgings you are welcome to do so. Please refrain from asking to stay in the couple's home or at William and Mary Jo Gray's home as we will need the rooms of their home to prepare.

Question

Whose name are you taking?

Answer

After much thought and conversation we decided it would be best to be "The Grays." We thoroughly debated multiple options but came to the conclusion that it just felt right for us. We have clearly gone a very non-traditional route and refuse to confine ourselves to specific stereotypes so please refrain from asking us questions like "Who's the Bride" as there are clearly two Grooms in this wedding. Thank you.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Boho Chic! If you don't know what that means message Nicholas! You'll definitely understand what we mean when you get to the wedding. We're going for upscale, classy, and refined, with a touch of contemporary bohemianism.
