Well, based off the tagline you can assume Brian and Anastasia met online and you would be right. Brian was ready to give up online dating, all together, after going on about 200 dates and Anastasia was just entering into the world of online dating. Brian was her first official online date. The week leading up to their first date they were talking pretty much all day and night and looking forward to their first date on May 1, 2022. Brian was at an engagement party for his friends Jubal and Amanda the night before. All the girls in the friend group were ready to take over Brian's dating apps to help him find "the one"... because he clearly either had a bad dating profile or bad taste. He let them know that he had a brunch date the following morning with this girl, Anastasia, who he was really excited about meeting and had a really good feeling about it. He told them that if this date didn't go well then his dating apps were all theirs. Long story short, the date went swimmingly! Brian texted Amanda after he and Anastasia parted ways for the first (and only) time to let her know that she was "the one" and they would not be taking over his dating apps. Not more than a few hours later, Brian told Anastasia that he was heading to a wedding (for his friends Mike and Stephanie) in San Diego in ten days and asked if Anastasia wanted to go with him. At this point, she was already planning on leaving teaching, wanted a vacation (which Brian may or may not have included Disneyland) and was ready to find out if Brian was worth more of her time.... (if all else fails, at least she got a flight to San Diego, a wedding to party at, and a trip to Disney.... it seemed like a WIN). There were 2 outcomes possible, she either gets kidnapped or they fall in love, good thing it was the second one. After that weekend, they knew knew this was it! Anastasia and Maximus moved in with Brian and Echo shortly thereafter and started creating the best life. They traveled A TON, learned so much about each other, learned new hobbies and got better at others, grew both individually and together, and felt more love than both of them had ever felt before. August 1, 2023 they were in Juneau, Alaska next to the most beautiful waterfall with a massive glacier (Mendenhall Glacier) in the distance when Brian proposed on a secluded beach, just the two of them! It was magical and just perfect! They are so excited to have you join them for the celebration of the beginning of the next chapter of their beautiful adventure. This celebration (also known as a wedding) happens to be on the first of another month... They can't wait to see you on November 1, 2024!
