The Wedding Website of Anastasia Gustafson and Alvin Foerster
Question

Where do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP using the provided Zola link. You can do that on this website under the "RSVP" header, or by using the QR code on your physical invitation card.

Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

By Thursday, September 25th 2025. Otherwise, you will give my mother grey hair. Please consider the high cost of hair dye before making reckless RSVP decisions.

Question

What On Earth Should I Wear?

Answer

This wedding is on All Souls' Day--so please, wear all black! Yes, really. Fancy people might call this a 'black tie' event. If we were fancy, we might also say that.

Question

Have We Thought About The Children?

Answer

We understand that children exist. We also know that yours are lovely. Unfortunately, the reception venue can only hold 105 people, and so, only adults may attend.

Question

Will You Be Feeding Me Sad, Catered Chicken?

Answer

No! Be not afraid! Captain Porky's from Wadsworth will be catering our wedding buffet style. There will be appetizers, including bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, Caprese skewers, and stuffed mushrooms. For entrees, there will be smoked BBQ pork, fried Cajun chicken(of the happiest kind), smoked chicken breast (gluten free), lobster mac & cheese, as well as hot link sausages. For sides, you may choose from garlic potatoes, sautéed mixed vegetables, coleslaw, BBQ baked beans, yeast rolls and cornbread. About 1/2 of this is naturally gluten free and will be marked as such that day. For dessert, there will be strawberry and turtle cheesecakes in addition to our wedding cake from Lovin' Oven Cakery. I asked my mom for a chocolate cake. She said no. Chocolate cakes at weddings are socially unacceptable. But we shall see about that, won't we?

Question

To Drink Or Not To Drink?

Answer

Good news! In addition to our champagne toast, at our free limited bar, there will be Goose Island beer, red, white and rose wines, along with multiple cans of White Claw available to guests in conjunction with traditional Coke products. While we cannot turn water into wine, you are welcome to bring more booze if you so choose.

Question

Uhhm...Are Ms. Gustafson's students invited?

Answer

Is your homework done? Are you able to drive? Are you bold enough to ask me in the flesh? Then, yes, it is certainly -possible- for you to attend the ceremony part of my wedding! And when I say it is possible, I mean of course that you need my explicit permission. Send me an email. I might respond. I might not. But if you're not wearing all black, I will 100% write you a dress code violation in VeraCross.
