Pack for everything... It doesn't get as cold as New England but don't expect it to be hot like LA. Expect temps between 50-65 degrees mostly. The marine layer weather in San Francisco changes frequently. You might wake up to cold fog in the morning and then have a bright sunny 75 degree day (we hope). We definitely recommend packing a jacket or 2 for when the sun comes down and the marine chill sets in. Also there are so many amazing hikes and walking spots so don't forget your sneakers!
If you are staying at Cavallo you won't need to worry about transportation as everything is on site. We will provide transportation options to and from Cavallo Point for the ceremony for those of you staying at Fisherman's Wharf in SF. If you want to travel to nearby spots such as Napa, Tahoe, Santa Cruz, etc. we would recommend renting a car. Otherwise Uber/Lyft as well as Jump Bikes and Scoot offer easy and fun transportation around the city and Marin (where Cavallo is). Cavallo is located just over the Golden Gate Bridge and usually costs about $30 to Uber there from downtown SF
