It Was Always You: When Charles was in 7th grade and Anastasia was in 9th grade they met! Charles and Isaac (Anastasia's younger brother and life-long best friend) had been friends since 5th grade, so Charles was around often. Charles was smitten from the beginning and even proposed to her in 8th grade with a ring from the Safeway vending machine! Charles and Anastasia were friends through high school, but knew there was something special between them from the start. Charles seriously pursued Anastasia throughout college, which led Anastasia to realize what an amazing, steadfast man he is - and they both knew it was a forever type of love. In September 2015, while Anastasia studied abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia and Charles studied at Azusa Pacific in Southern California, they decided to make their relationship official! Since then, Anastasia has graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor's Degree and finished her first year of Law School in Sacramento. Charles has transferred to University of San Francisco (Sacramento) and will complete his Bachelor's Degree in Nursing August 2019, (woohoo!) and will begin working as a Registered Nurse in the fall before the wedding. We are also crazy about the Enneagram - Anastasia is a 5 and Charles is a 2. We are true pair of opposites, but fall more in love with each other because of it! We plan on living in Sacramento, CA for the next few years as Anastasia finishes Law School and Charles pursues work as a Nurse in a children's hospital. We are both so excited and ready to begin their lives as a married couple!
We are excited to announce our engagement to our entire community. If you're visiting this website, then that means you matter to us! In some way or another, you have shaped us and helped us get to where we are today. We love you! We have chosen, due to the challenges of our school schedules, that the best time for us to get married is the week before Christmas. (And we weren't excited about the idea of waiting until law school is over in 2021!) We understand the constraints of traveling so close to a major holiday and (for Anastasia's family) attending two weddings out of state in one year. (Shoutout to Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Leach!!) With all this in mind, we have decided an intimate family wedding will be most appropriate.
