Where should I stay?
Answer
We don’t have a specific hotel block, but we’ve listed some recommended places to stay on our travel page. There are also plenty of Airbnb and VRBO options nearby. If you have any questions about accommodations, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help! Anywhere between Del Mar and Carlsbad along the 5 freeway would be a great spot.

How long should I stay?
Answer
To attend all the weekend events we suggest arriving in San Diego no later than Thursday (08/14) and staying through Sunday (08/17).

Should I rent a car?
Answer
San Diego is ride share friendly, so no need to rent a car. However, if you find it more convenient and plan to adventure around San Diego a car can be helpful.

Is transportation provided?
Answer
Transportation to and from venue is not provided so please plan accordingly.

What should I bring to San Diego?
Answer
It’s usually warm during the day in summer, but it cools down at night. Be sure to bring a bathing suit plus shorts for daytime and a sweatshirt or light jacket for the evening. Also, don't forget to wear your sunscreen. The summer sun in San Diego is very strong.

Can we accommodate diet restrictions/allergies?

We’ll be having a buffet with a variety of options to choose from (including pescatarian and gluten free). Please just let us know if you have any specific dietary needs or restrictions via the RSVP, and we will work with the venue to make accommodations!

Suggested attire for the event is sophisticated beach cocktail party.

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that you refer to your invitation regarding any plus-one details. Thank you!

Is there a gift registry?
Answer
We're so thankful for your thoughtfulness. Since we have everything we need, we're not requesting gifts. However, if you'd like to contribute, we’ll have a card box at the event or you can send any donations to our Venmo (@Marie-Croghan). Any contributions will go toward our honeymoon fund. Of course, there's no pressure — your support means a lot to us!
