It all started on a dating website. Anastacia and Chris talked online for a while before they decided to meet in person for tea at Trident Cafe. At the cafe/bookstore, Anastacia walked right past Chris in the book aisles; she thought he was too cute to be the person she had seen on Chris’s profile. Gladly, she circled back, approached him, and was happily surprised to see he was her date. They settled down to tea outside and dug into getting to know each other. As their conversation was going so well, they decided to turn tea into sushi. They leisurely walked down Boulder, CO’s Pearl Street and found seats at the bar at HAPA. Chris charmed Anastacia by letting her know exactly how much he was comfortable paying for at dinner. By the end of dinner, neither one of them wanted to end the night. They went on a walk by the creek, found a spot to sit... and they didn’t get back up for a long time. They eventually knew it was time to go home, but weren’t happy to part ways. The evening ended with a long kiss in Chris’s car that was broken apart when they got heckled by passerbys . The next day, Anastacia asked Chris to go on a hike with her and her dog, Ava. The flowers in Boulder, CO were all in bloom, the sun was gentle and warm, and Ava for once in her god-damned life didn’t roll in poop. After a couple hours hiking, they went back to Anastacia’s house and got right to the point by talking about what they were looking for in a relationship. Quickly, they found they were blissfully aligned. Amazingly, it’s been history ever since.
